The Dictates of Destiny is a highly controversial publication that is sure to affect the equanimity of people possessing firmly-entrenched religious beliefs; nonetheless, it is a challenging read for all people, no matter of what religious persuasion or nationality. In the writing of the book the author, a staunch believer in the existence of the Creator, also in the stated guise of providing the contentious treatise on behalf of that divine entity, has audaciously dared to undertake what is surely a massive David-versus-Goliath task of trying to convince all the religious orders in existence that decisive changes need to be made in respect of some of the uncompromising, highly divisive beliefs currently in vogue. This he has attempted to do, without fear or favour, in total defiance of existing well-established stances, with a view to relieving the world of the detrimental traits of bigotry and hatred (often resulting in conflict) that are currently inherent to a marked degree within all the factional religious orders. The greater part of the author's dissertation provides details regarding a multiplicity of extraordinary, but highly significant, experiences that were to occur during his eventful life which purportedly culminated in his awareness as to the preordained task, notwithstanding some initial scepticism on his part. The frank, warts-and-all disclosures included therein will go a long way to provide readers with the opportunity to gain some insight into the character of this dedicated man; one who has revealed his honesty by pulling no punches with regard to himself and his misdemeanours during an eventful life. Whether one may agree, or disagree, with the contentious material contained in this thought-provoking book, there is no doubting the sincerity of purpose of the author in his discourse; a man with no axe to grind other than to make the world a better place. It is sure to provide much food for thought apropos to the suggestions advanced for the salvation of the human race, also in relation to the unacceptable direction in which humanity is claimed to be heading. Royce Hall, now very much in his twilight years, has ostensibly written this book as his legacy to the human race in the sincere expectation that it will kick-start a movement to bring about a distinct change in the future; one that will ultimately prove to be of great benefit to all the denizens of Earth. In this regard, and on his behalf, he hopes the disclosures may help to inspire some like-minded aspirants of genuine disposition to carry on what he considers to be this highly essential work.
